BC Forum Workshop on Climate Change – March 11, 2008
Our Changing Climate: What does it mean for BC’s forests, communities, and economy?
Synopsis - The B.C. Forum on Economics and Policy sponsored a workshop on the effects of climate change on B.C.’s forests, communities and economy. A panel of four speakers gave brief comments followed by questions from the workshop participants. A moderated panel with the participants followed encouraging open discussion and dialogue among the people affecting the response within the B.C. forest sector to a changing climate. The workshop was an opportunity to question, and perhaps challenge, some of the experts whose views will affect B.C. policy response to a changing climate.
